Freer than free

“I feel a freedom in you that I’ve never felt before,” are the words of a dear friend after seeing images of me in Egypt. Her words touch me deeply, as they hit the very essence. Egypt has opened profound layers within me, layers I didn’t even know existed. I feel free, freer than free. To sing at the top of my lungs, to shamelessly dance through life, to open my heart unconditionally and wide. For whatever may come my way. Ultimately, it goes far beyond my mind. Sometimes I still try to figure it out. I want to grasp it, hold onto it. How will I shape my working life? Where will I live in the future? I have no idea. I trust. I know. It will unfold. I dance with life, unrestrained and in full surrender.
